On September 28 and October 5, 2024, International Laboratories Co., Ltd. carried out the project “Planting 20,000 Trees, Conservation of Community Forests to Foster a Low-Carbon Society,” in collaboration with the community at Ban Nong Pong Community Forest, Ban Rai Sa Jock Community Forest, Tha Maka District and Ban Lang Khao Community Forest, Ban Hin Dad Thong Community Forest, Ban Nong Gae Nai Community Forest, Bo Phloi District, Kanchanaburi Province.

The project “Planting 20,000 Trees, Conservation of Community Forests to Foster a Low-Carbon Society” was initiated to restore the degradation of natural forests. The deterioration of forests is a significant factor exacerbating global warming. Currently, the issue of global warming has impacted the way of life of humans, not only in Thailand but across the entire world.
Global warming is exacerbated by the increase of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, which results from the burning of fossil fuels. One tree can absorb 9-15 kilograms of carbon dioxide per year and One acre of forest can absorb 2.5 tons of carbon dioxide per year. However, with the current deforestation caused by agricultural expansion and other human activities, the forested areas were decreasing, Meanwhile, the amount of greenhouse gases from human behavior is increasing, further exacerbating global warming.

International Laboratories Co., Ltd. recognizes the importance of global warming. Therefore, the company has been implementing the project “Planting 20,000 Trees, Conservation of Community Forests to Foster a Low-Carbon Society.” This project has been ongoing for over 10 years, with the aim of restoring forest resources to their original state, reducing the severity of global warming for humans and nature to coexist sustainably.
